I'm always stressed and anxious like shit after, like I just drank 5 cups of coffee even if I don't take pre-workout. I don't really get that high that people talk about.

I made quite a few friends because of it and re-established old friendships with people I haven't talked to since high school. Also when you're out drinking you'll have some gymbros coming over and asking for your lifts and occasionally girls too. I experienced that and i'm still dyel.

gym is a hobby and it only takes a few hours per week. Not everyone is trying to be a mr olympia. How is it any less of a hobby than hiking, running or swimming?
Has nothing to do with my argument with what is good for health

A hobby should be somewhat relaxing. Lifting weights spikes cortizol like nothing else.

If you're exerting yourself heavily it's all unhealthy, jfl. All STRESS is bad, physical and mental. It's biology 101, it ages the organism.

Humans have this retarded notion that stuff that applies to "non-humans" doesn't apply to humans cause of we not animals cope.

You feel stressed because you don’t recieve dopamine from anything else. Most sports are competetive, and you are competing against others. That’s why it makes you stressed. Hobbies like reading a book, nature walking, learning an instrument are not.

Being an inactive sack of shit also makes me feel bad in different ways. And no going for a walk doesn't alleviate that.

To an extent. More about being in shape. To get muscular to be considered large sacrifices health.
85kg 12% bodyfat is what you should aim for at 183cm.

Means you're mentally ill or eat too many carbs. You shouldn't eat any if you're not going to do anything that requires energy, that's how everybody got fat.

you're supposed to eat carbs before/ after gymcelling. They reduce stress.
