It doesn't matter, they both shine in different times. Prettyboys will shine from 15-20 maybe 21. Masc will shine 21+.
However i think the ideal should be maesthetic (Combi of Prettyboy and Masc), since it's easier for both sides to obtain.

Well tiktok or not they have the upperhand in the below 21 age group since they tend to like less hard masculine features. But that is somewhat legit what you said.
