Is there a Halo effect or AntiHalo effect of posting in a thread where one of the forum Chad's has posted?

My personal observation is there is an Antihalo effect. If my post is in close proximity to a post made by one of the forum Chads, my post is more likely to be ignored (not quoted, not reacted to).
