Is there any difference between masseter hypertrophy and Ramus Implants?

Because if so, would save a lot of time and money by avoiding the implants

thought it might just be me who saw it this way. dont know why chewing is still promoted here tho, I stopped a long time ago and decided to just save for ramus implants

Idk if chewing is a cope for width but it gave me a nice jawline

Masseter hypertrophy goes hand in hand with increasing ramus size, especially if you're still in puberty, there are studies showing this. Anecdotally, if you google bruxism jaw you won't see a single patient with a high gonial angle.

when you say increasing ramus size do you mean vertically or pushing it outwards and increasing bigonial width?

Primarily vertically, but it will increase horizontal width also just to a lesser degree.
