1. Why Christianity can no longer protect western civilization against degeneracy and how it was weakened.
The role of Christianity was reduced to a cultural institution during the enlightenment period. Later on, especially after WW2, progressive "liberal" values gradually replaced the traditional , (commonly) shared values across all the 3 abrahamic faiths. The transformation was very sudden and destructive. From then onwards, religion was reduced to nothingness. Infact, in our age, the hallmark of an educated person is disregard for religion and traditional values. Irreligiousity in Europe and America is of different kinds. With the exception of a few countries, religion in Europe is looked down upon and every act or idea which subverts any remnent of tradition ( patriarchy, gender roles, chastity) is hailed and praised. Those who resist such attempts are cancelled, mocked and bound to fail in their resistance. It's simply impossible to stop what's happening in the name of progress these days. In America, religion is reduced to a few issues like abortion, same sex marriage etc but religion isn't a signficant part of daily life. Christians don't follow any rules or laws written down in the bible, it's a farce in the name of Christianity. In comparison with Muslims, majority of Muslims want to live their lives in accordance with Quran, Sunnah and Shariah ( Islamic codes ). As far as the western world is concerned, the death of religion as a whole has happened and there is no use to pretending it hasn't.
1. Why cultural/actual Christians hate Islam and why Islam is the only religion left to take a firm stand against degeneracy despite the poor material conditions of Muslims
Islam has been targeted for centuries since its inception and with greater force since the Crusades. The western world always feared being conquered by Islam, this fear was at its peak after the fall of Constantinople and the siege of Vienna. Despite the contribution of Islamic Civilization to the Renaissance, it was always seen as the "other" , something which is foreign, reprehensible and dangerous. The period of colonization further portrayed Islam in a negative light to justify plundering of material goods and resources. It didn't end there, the colonizers also sought to destroy Islamic culture wherever they went , i.e replace it with the supposedly "better" western culture. Europeans collectively suppressed any progress or reform in the regions they conquered. They didn't provide the native community a chance to assert its own identity in response to western enlightenment and the scientific revolution. The Islamic world was left in the dark ages after being the cradle of a great civilization for centuries. The muslims responded in a reactionary way after the end of colonial rule. The era of colonial rule came to an end but the attitude didn't change at all. Western global powers wanted to dominate and determine the politics of Islamic countries in accordance with their own ideals. The Muslim world adopted a hostile attitude and the worst possible outcomes which followed were the Iranian Revolution and the emergence of global terrorist organizations. The terrorists didn't form out of thin air, they are the direct and indirect product of western interference in the regional affairs of Muslim countries. The next big mistake was the war on terror, fighting an enemy who uses asymmetric warfare with symmetric warfare. This act in of itself led to the loss of millions of muslim lives. This is a very general look and it is over simplified but the pattern is clear. The main reason behind the fear of Islam isn't due to the nature of Islam itself, it's hatred for sake of preserving one's own identity. The hatred is a natural development. The traditional outlook of Muslims is an impediment to the global outreach of western values. Muslims are aware of this. Most of us don't want you to help us understand Islam and the best form of help would be leaving us to ourselves, letting us solve our own problems.
