Well yeah but that doesn't mean it's impossible. He is being intentionally deceptive with the angle at which the photo is taken and how he tilts his head.

No it’s a pretty simple but time consuming process. You have to find an object in the picture, then find the same object for same online where it will tell you the measurements. You use incrimination of this object to measure the distance and then convert to inches.

For example: a man standing in a picture with a table, you find the table online, it’s 4 feet long. Create a line in photoshop as long as the table and move it to his shoulders, calculate how many table lengths down to the decimal it takes to go from one shoulder to the next. Then do the same for waist and multiply the amount by 48 to get inches. Now you have their bidelt to waist ratio.

Doesn't matter what kind of camera you're using, as long as you take into account the focal length to minimize distortion on your face, the ratios will be the same
