Crime is possible. I would agree with "there is a 1% chance that you get caught so crime is impossible" argument if analytical philosophy was true. At that point it would be a relatively undesirable risk. Since continental philosophy is true, whether a criminal is caught or not can be known deductively and a priori. Plus this entails that the risk would be worth it even if there, since you have full control over the risk during the crime. This doesn't mean that you won't mess up but it's in your control. I think there are terrible techniques that criminals might use like waiting for someone in their car or apartment which is terrible, or sneaking up on someone which is risky. High IQ criminals ambush (but, of course, not in someone's car or apartment since that just increases risk and it's impossible to safely break in and draws in the risk of that person bringing others with them). There is misinfo around crime spread around to get criminals caught, I don't think that rear naked choke is part of this misinfo, a standing rear naked choke takes a bit more strength but if someone manages someone else's weight during the choke it's not ineffective at all, so that's not part of the disinfo.
