Because lmao not everyone in a family shares the same skin tone? My dad's side of family are all light skin while my moms side are all brown/ dark brown. My sister inherited the lightskin genes from my dad's side, while my brother and me inherited our brown skin from our mothers side.

But I plan on getting chemical peels (not bleach) so that I can lighten up my neck and face to match the lighter skin unexposed parts of my body soon.
