If you do martial arts & grapple with someone who's on a good dose of roids, you realise it right away.

They have a gross, synthetic power that is very difficult to overcome as a natty, even if you're full af and bulked up. Bonus points if they're old fart + roided. Way too overpowered.

Btw I'm not talking about people who hopped on recently, but people who have been cycling for years.

And it's funny how fast they gas out due to their absurd muscle mass.

No. They're not bodybuilders, but martial arts guys who train for their sport while roiding. They actually have better cardio than nattys as well :feelskek:

Disagree. Strength mostly comes down to CNS, Exposure to heavy weights and Moment arm. Muscular hypertrophy that steroids induce don't do much for strength gains. They can help you gain more strength by helping in protein synthesis and making your muscles less fatigued over a period of time but steroids by themselves don't do much for strength. Maybe halotestin can give you some temporary strength because of CNS drive but the research on this isn't very clear.

Wdym androgens do a shit tonne for grip strength, neural adaptations, aggression. Enhanced guys with martial arts experience and a decent natural temperament are actual killers.

Horrible take I’m sorry
Steroids do not do anything directly ro enhance strength via neural pathways or biomechanics, but they significantly impact hypertrophy, recovery, and fatigue which contribute to strength DEVELOPMENT.

All of it is indirect like I said. Grip strength correlates strongly with forearm muscle hypertrophy, which steroids indirectly support. Aggression I can agree. Roid rage is very real.

So yeah they make you stronger
They don't directly make you any stronger. This thread makes it seem like roids are some kind of captain America serum or whatever when they are far from that. Roids are just enhancers.

Strength has a strong correlation to muscle mass, no ? It’s not a weak correlation or something

There’s no coincidence the biggest guy in the gym is the one typically benching 4 plates.

I know someone who cycled and their bench went from 90kg to 130kg in 16 weeks. I’ve seen it first hand. No drastic change in body fat except for water and nitrogen retention. Also not a crazy hyperesponder or anything.

There is a strong correlation yes but things like CNS and Moment Arm matter a lot more. Some of the strongest powerlifters in the world have average size

Taylor Atwood deadlifting 4.5x his weight. Stronger than Eddie Hall pound for pound

Taylor benching 2.8x his weight

When the person is trained & fit and they roid they are just that, a superhero serum.

Steroids don't make you strong they help you to be able to gain more strength is how OP should have worded this thread

When did I even say "steroids make you strong" :feelskek::feelskek::feelskek:

sounds like you're just arguing for the sake of arguing at this point
