So I've been attempting different methods of styling my hair. It's long and a bit wavy. However, my attempts at styling and maintaining good waves, volume, etc throughout the day have failed. That is until I tried the bed hair method.
If you've got thick hair this method works exceptionally well. Basically, shower and towel dry your hair (no hair dryer!) before going to bed. You'll want your hair to be wet but not soaking.
In the morning, you should have a complete mess of hair going in all directions. You'll notice more waves, curls, and overall volume. Style this hair with a clay-like product such as American Crew Fiber (Cremo also works well and is cheaper). Once you've got your desired shape and form, hairspray (max hold type) the hell out of it. You can blow dry with heat if you want.
Now you're good to go.
