Low gonial angle is cope the only reason low gonial angle is typically better is because it usually the result of a longer ramus. The only reason high gonial angle is typically worse is because it is/looks like downward growth. The ideal gonial angle is somewhere in between. 0 downward growth + medium gonial angle due to tall chin is ideal.
