I don’t agree with letting go of morality itself but I agree with your main point.

The biggest misconception is the idea that morality is whatever society dictates. There is no obective standard of morality, it’s a personal belief, everyone has different values and principles.

You’re not moral-less for disagreeing with mainstream beliefs. You still have your own beliefs of right and wrong that you abide by.
