Love is a concept created by humans to give deeper meaning to the act of procreation (evolutionary the only meaning to our lives) where there never even was any. Sex as a whole is something that animals do in a regular basis. It's sole purpose is to propagate the participants' genes.

Even the 'love' a parent has for their child is meaningless.
