I used to think truth was more important but it's not really important to anyone else but autists like me. If you're autist you need to start lying it makes life much easier and it's the optimal strategy for getting through daily life. Just think what outcome you want and what they need to think for that and that is the new truth from now. I still work on implementing cause it feels very unnatural and I default to honesty rather than lying.
