He is right.


Dr. Mew has done such a great service by bringing attention to an ever-worsening issue that's affected society for quite a long time, as said issue has actively been brushed aside by very corrupt sections of both the orthodontic and dental industry.

However, the only way that his message can spread and make a change in society for the better is if it's able to reach the mainstream, and it must be presented in a way that isn't contaminated by this place's toxicity as said toxicity will inevitably be used against it just as it already has.


The delusional ideal of telling [usually ugly] people to "accept the way you look [even if you're ugly]" is so very toxic in and of itself, and amounts to no more than mere gaslighting.

It ultimately stems from a place of selfishness so as to make the person saying it feel better about themselves as they gaslight some poor, naive, and gullible bastard into believing it.

They lie to these people all the while thinking to themselves they're doing the "good thing" by "not hurting their feelings", yet ironically enough it's still ultimately at the great inevitable expense of hurting their health instead.

This type of gaslighting is really no different to the very toxic and disingenuous nature of the evil known as "fat acceptance", as it also actively encourages people to embrace having poor health and an unnecessary early death riddled with great agony and suffering to it's very end.


It's also no different to all those awful and unreliable Redditors on places like /truerateme, who go out of there way to sugarcoat ratings for people that are obviously ugly just because they don't want to hurt their feelings.

It's so ironic when all these toxic gaslighters on Reddit and even IRL at times do this because they just end up doing more harm in the end anyway.

I genuinely find it disgusting how one can act so cowardly and selfish to ugly people by gaslighting them, just because they're too afraid of feeling bad about themselves for being honest.

This is especially true when the ugly people they gaslight into thinking of themselves as "attractive" still end up just being treated negatively by other people, and are instead forced to figure out on their own the hard way that it was because of the way they looked.

It's so messed up that ugly people are forced to learn this way when someone could've very easily just told them the truth straight up, and spared them so much [wasted] time and needless hardship instead.

Mewing isn't a scam but he does exaggerate the effects it has after 14. Really the idea that a 20 year old man can fix a recession with his tongue is stupid. Mewing is correct tongue posture that over time adapts the muscles and leads bone development into a good direction that promotes better facial aesthetics.

But you need to look into surgery past a certain age to aid the process mewing will still have good effects over 1-2 years you would notice for sure its the correct way to breathe too. But they make it seem like they invented a technique its just proper breathing you should have been doing this cradle to tomb you will likely need bimax or expansion if you have severe issues caused by mouth breathing
