My cardio fitness is below average but im skinny and dont want to lose more weight

My apple watch tells me my cardio fitness is really bad. Also i get out of breath very fast and get fast heartbeat quick. I do 4 times a week gym but this hasnt improved my cardio.
What kind of cardio exercise could i do to not lose more weight and destroy my gymmax progress?

You'll lose fat not muscle unless you're running marathons

Just eat more food theory

Go on a tradmill a few times a week

Cycle to work/place of study

Do the 5k Parkrun every Sat morning

Run for 45 mins once or twice during the week.
 
Do cardio 2x a week and eat on these two days 500+ calories more or less depending on how much you burn during the cardio session
 
Take long walks too
 
Cardio is important for sex
