Yeah I tried that right now. The smell kind of went away it seems. This time I used a measure of washing liquid soap, a cup of apple vinegar (white would have been best ) and then sodium bicarbonate in the last cycle. I just put them to dry right next to the heather. I don't think I removed it completely but it seems it is reducedput into the washing machine
Im pretty sure you use vinegar to fix bad smells in clothes.Yeah I tried that right now. The smell kind of went away it seems. I edited the comment which was wrongIm pretty sure you use vinegar to fix bad smells in clothes.
Oh yeah, white vinegar. That stuff is supposed to have zero smell.I edited the comment which was wrong
It was just on the first cycle, the other two are supposed to remove the vinegar. I also used sodium bicarbonate in the last cycle which neitralizes it supposedly. Anyway they smell better now than before I put them into the washing machine. I've read that the vinegar smell that can remain just evaporates when the clothes dry. If there is still any smell I think it is gonna be better than mildew and mold but I m gonna have an eye on it.Oh yeah, white vinegar. That stuff is supposed to have zero smell.
