2nd only to Ultra-Orthodox Judaism and tied with some dry fundamentalist Christian sect. It’s an Abrahamic religion for autistic logicians who love rules, hate subtext, and demand that every aspect of their life, from the length of their beard to the way they walk to the hand they wipe their ass with be prescribed in their text. And if there isn’t an answer in the book, don’t worry, because there’s a whole class of clerics with less humor than a Catholic inquisitor to answer the most banal questions.
