hello everyone
as i've told to many users in private dms, i unfortunately have cushing syndrome (if you don't know what that is just look it up yourself)
ive been wondering if any of you are affected by this syndrome, and if so i'd like to receive some advice on how to limit the symptoms caused by the disease and maybe try to find a way to improve my body

i'm currently on ray peat's diet but it hasn't been doing much
You won't feel the true benefits of running on glucose (peating) unless you are blocking free fatty acids or pufa deplete, and producing and retaining enough co2 to allow oxidative phosphorylation. Otherwise you still might be stuck in glycolytic metabolism where cells are still inefficiently producing energy.

is this larp?

" Since excess tryptophan is known to produce muscle pain, myositis, even muscular dystrophy, gelatin is an appropriate food for helping to correct those problems, simply because of its lack of tryptophan. (Again, the popular nutritional idea of amino acids as simply building blocks for tissues is exactly wrong--muscle protein can exacerbate muscle disease.) All of the conditions involving excess prolactin, serotonin, and cortisol (autism, postpartum and premenstrual problems, Cushing's disease, "diabetes," impotence, etc.) should benefit from reduced consumption of tryptophan. But the specifically antiinflammatory amino acids in gelatin also antagonize the excitatory effects of the tryptophan-serotonin-estrogen- prolactin system. "
