The only exception to this is a guy I have nick named Bulk Cut guy, I know he is on roids because I have overheard him talking about it, he goes through cycles where he balloons to 20% body fat, then cuts down to about 12% body fat for like a week and looks pretty jacked, but then gains all the fat back and just looks like the stereotypical gym hulk.

Every other person never changes. jacked guys remain jacked. Deadlifters just deadlift. Skinny fat guys stay skinny fat. Fit girls stay fit. Most obvious to me are the females that just need to loose 10 or 15 lbs to look hot, there are probably doezens in this category that I see at the gym frequently but they never change, or they loose like 5 lbs and it is kind of noticable, but then they gain the extra weight back. I can not think of a single female that has gone from chubby to fit.

people have no idea about workout programming. diet sort of became a cope in the sense it's importance is way-way overpushed compared to proper workout programming. its easier putting your thoughts on a "good diet" thinking thats what's gonna make you good gains bcuz muhh "diet is 70% of the process" while people slack in the gym, 95% of gym goers have shit routine, even steroids users, but for them it obviously doesnt matter what they do

There's 2 Indians at my gym that came maybe 2 months ago and I'd always see them bench anything between 60 and 95 pounds for like 30 sets. A couple weeks ago I saw them rep out 135 and last time it was 175. They also started looking like they're lifting. Idk if it's roids or 2050 superpower natty progress.

Yea. I should have been more specific. I was speaking as to how they look. I am sure people are making progress with how much they can lift, etc...
 
I only go to the gym to get lean tbh ngl. And people are noticing changes, so everything is fine.

The reason nobody makes progress except the roid dudes is that natty lifting is an epic scam. But don't tell that to the gymcels because there is legit no group of copers more deluded than them so they will defend the idea to death that you can look like you lift without roids.

Saddest thing is the Indian/Asian skinny boys who have been going to my gym for 3 years and still look exactly the same. Literally zero progress with hundreds of hours invested. Lol

Idk haven't benched for like 8 months. Currently seated shoulder pressing 65s for 10-12.

@ZUZZCEL Don't laugh you low T curry shitskin, I lost my pressing strength cuz I didn't train it for a long time, soon enough I'll be repping 100 pound dumbells overhead while you're preparing your heroin overdose and rope.

i meant buff for a 16 yo. compared to the other kids besides the chads i looked like superman. im overexxagerating, but i looked ok.

i looked athletic despite being severely obese, i still do now.

I just drink , smoke and do drugs

You hit "plateau" sooner or later, depending on your genetics, and then you just train to maintain that strength/muscle mass that you have but you are not gaining anything. Natty training is heavily dependent on your genetics, I was never able to do more than 3-4 pull ups no matter what .

my 2 cents

1. you make gainz in the first years after that it really goes down and approaches zero like a logarithm function

2. many people over 25 dont even care about gains. they go to gym after a stressy work day and want to move a bit so they feel a little bit better and sleep good. if you dont get fatter at 30 compared to 20 thats a good achievement.

i like how the goal post keeps being move back until eventually 140lb twinks with 15% bf will be the "natty limit" and anyone who is bigger or in better condition is "obviously" on drugs, from people who consider themselves experts because they went to the gym haphazardly for 3 months and didnt experience gains. Its an absurd time to be living in.

I gymcelled for years and spent thousands of dollars into it. Nothing happened. If you have great genetics it's possible to look pretty cool without your cloth on but nobody who isn't a fat fuck is ever going to look like they lift with clothing on.

And just LOL at the above guy who says he got jacked natty without roids in 2 months just lol.

This. In my first year of gymcelling i went from very skinny to average/slightly built, after one year so either just maintain and be happy with what youve got with some strength increases but basically minimal changes in how you look or hop on roids simple as

Clarification: The thread was primarily about moderatelly chubby girls I see at the gym frequently that only need to loose like 10 or 15 lbs to look hot, but never do. There are literally dozens of girls at my gym that look like the before picture below, I see them at the gym a lot, but none of them ever get anywhere close to the after pic, in fact most of them never change a damn bit or loose a single ounce of fat.

Gym and exercises is used to have lean body imo

I suggest joining a sport that you love and getting lean body in less than a year by doing that sport is 10x better than wasting your youth in the gym

I mean you you should lift from time to time
 
Barring extremely shitty genetics, most people fail because they either don't work hard enough, or they still eat extremely high calorie, low protein food, or a combination of the two.
I was a personal trainer for two years and I can't count how many of my clients said they worked out all the time but weren't seeing results. I'd give them an actual program of progressive overload and they'd start seeing results. I'd get them a program of progressive overload and on a high protein, slightly calorie reduced diet, and they'd get shredded.
