Watermaxxing is also so giga underrated but hard to do tbh

I thought I drank a lot of water but ever since I started to actually measure I was quite a bit under 2 litres and now I get 3 litres at least everyday.

staying hydrated at all times is absolutely essential. i get about 4 liters everyday and even then sometimes it's not enough when i'm getting a lot of protein

Depends on the person, nutrition can affect people differently.

You could be allergic to shit you don't know about that causes bloat or inflammation and over a long period of time it adds up epically for health. Health is the number 1 determiner of looks.

You want to be the healthiest as possible and thats not just for looks.

Muh hydration is a meme, just drink when your body tells you to. Water is the worst thing you can drink and will just deplete you of minerals and is probably polluted

Drink when you're thirsty. Maybe 10% more than you have to. Don't take small sips all the time.
Take a look at alternatives to water like fruit juice.
And try to "eat" more water in the form of fruits etc.

Just some ideas. Might be bs

I misunderstood you
it's better to get your fluids from milk, juice, soda
and why is water bad in the first place if ur getting the minerals u need everyday?

Tbh
Gl guys always look very healthy even if they're not that gl

Fruit juice is a meme, fruits are meant to be eaten not squeezed out the fibre and just drink pure sugar.

Drinking lots of water is also good for preventing kidney stones in the future.

Not to mention I exercise a lot.

I swear people on this site are never consistent, "water is bad, drink milk, soda and juice!"

Milk contains loads of female hormones
Soda is just pure sugar which causes inflammation and contribute to diabetes risk over time, same with fruit juices.

Nutrition is fundamental for bodybuilding and thus for looks. Also there is people walking around with a bloated face just from eating processed shit.

For bodybuilding only the amount of protein is important. Macros. I have never seen compelling evidence that micronutrition matters at all.
What is 'processed shit'? I've seen people get bloated from gluten but they would bloat even from raw oatmeal, no 'processed shit'.

Nutrition is cope beyond doing something totally subhuman like veganism (jfl at vegans).

The same people that talk about nutrition here and how it's important to drink 3+L of water every day or whatever, will forcefully starve their body from nutrients due to waterfasting the next week. And then somehow this is also healthy lol. Literally 0 consistency.

literally never seen anyone here preach about nutrition then starve themselves for a week straight? fact of the matter is ur killing urself as each second passes when u starve urself. that's why i'm very much against caloric restriction long term. caloric surplus is the way to go for healthmaxxing as long as it's clean food not garbage empty calories

Well, you require certain micronutrients to build hormones and whatnot, so if you took a non varied diet you could have micro-deficiencies that would bottleneck many processes.
And people who eat shit often look like shit, maybe it's something you wont notice in the short run but you will in the medium-long run, of course that's just my personal experience and got no "studies" to back it up.

The problem is that NOBODY agrees what 'eating shit' looks like, or what 'eating well' looks like.

In just 50 years we have seen it all: from low-fat diets to high-fat diets. High-carb to keto. Carnivore to vegan/vegetarian. High salt to low salt. People taking 10 pills of food supplements every day: Fishoils, vitamins, zinc, magnesium, you name it. Low cholesterol diets. Then omega 3 vs omega 6 became a thing. Milk is good vs milk is bad. Fibercontent suddenly becoming a thing of concern.

I could write an entire book about different ideas people have had on diet in just 50 years.

When I talk about nutrition with people, people constantly contradict one another. 'oh no man, red meat is bad.' 'i dont drink milk' 'everyone should take fishoil supplements' 'fruit is good, fruit is bad' 'I ate so much good fibers today'. etc

If nutrition actually had a big impact on health, wouldn't we have reached some conclusions already instead of everyone having entirely different diets for 'health purposes' all the time?

I think the problem is we are faced with significant conflicting interests. I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but observational studies etc are so malleable to the interests of the researcher that several conclusions can be reached. In my PERSONAL opinion sticking to a diet that is as analogous as possible to our evolutionary diet makes the most sense. Eat things your body is used to. The thing I am MOST confident about is that sugar, in any form, is bad. Especially refined sugars, but processed grains etc too. I personally try and maintain a high fat diet and get my carbs from leafy plants etc.

The problem is that NOBODY agrees what 'eating shit' looks like, or what 'eating well' looks like.
