I never had genuine friends
When I was a kid nobody made friends with me probably because I was ugly
I noticed one thing that the handsome guys who were handsome kids back then didn't have to go to anybody and ask to be friends
Everybody (including girls)would go to them and be happy being friends with them
Ever since lockdown started,I got isolated more and more
Currently,I still don't have genuine friends
I am autistic and don't know how to communicate with people effectively

I’ve had a similar experience but I kept thinking that it was because I was “socially weird”

My parents brainwashed me my entire life into thinking I was a “handsome boy” and that I looked “special”

Only until a year ago I found out what the true reason was

I kept working on my personality all these damn years when the true problem was just what my parents brainwashed me into thinking was my “specialty”
