Yes it is bad your skin will become so fucking thin and by the time your are 23 your skin will look a plastic bottle. You should only use it when you’re 25+ bc at that age you will have much thicker skin then at 16 so retin a won’t make your skin that thin

If you’re 23 already and you’re using a weaker version of it I think you’re fine. Just use it sparingly though

I wouldn’t say to use it every day, every 3 days is fine. Take what I say with a grain of salt bc I’m not very knowledgable about retin a but I’ve seen threads and read stories and side effects of people who use retin a that much over such a long period of time

you could try to get prescribed accutane, that also has some bad side effects but it has less of them than retin a

I think at 15/16, facial cleaner + toner + moisturizer + weekly exfoliator + sunscreen is more than enough

Once you become 22, then you can move on to stuff like tretonin and collagen peptides
