The advantage of having straight eyelids is having a harmonious hooding resulting in hunter eyes wihout looking alien.

Yeah, but is pretty easy to tell if because straight upper eyelids or hooding.
Straight upper eyelids cover the upper iris while hooding shows

In extreme cases of hooding can hide the upper iris but damn is gonna look alien

and only way to improve it surgically is a theory so far by getting fillers in your nasal bridge hoping it might stretch your medial canthus but it is risky
