This is a is a guy who came up to me on a bus one day and wanted to speak with me so that he could impress the other passengers with his use of English. I was super polite, but ended up having to get off way before my stop. I just couldn't deal with being mogged so hard.

Not that in my case, I enjoy talking to people in their first language because that's when they could express themselves better and I get to learn more about the language.
