I try to stay away from anime, its too sexualized nowandays.

But code geass or chrono crusade for anime. If your new trying to choose something, id say go for the older ones. Steins gate, Charlotte, and psycho pass is decent. New anime seems rushed and plot is usually typical zoomer trash. But if you do like Japanese cartoons i recommend murim type manhuas. They are always superior to the anime. Its to many out there so best to just search up a trope and get your feet wet from there. Just be prepared for a cliffhanger because they are either all ongoing or at a dead stop.

For movies, I never watched inception. That's been on my list for a few days. Only movies i watch are ones with a increased likelihood of having a deeper meaning behind it. I actively try to decipher the deeper meanings of the movies and that makes it purposeful and funnier to watch. Illuminati tier only. Movies are usually ass. Only movie I generally would rewatch is hercules 1997 and matrix movies.

I don't watch anything with a female MC.

When i still watched tv, i only really did comedy. Netflix series stuff like sex education or hood classics like boondocks. Nostalgic tier only for tv. You probably know best what to watch when it comes to TV shows. Browsing Netflix and checking out random or interesting looking titles to predict the meaning or tropes is an interesting activity as well. Last tv series i probably watched was Spartacus.
