Retinol in early 20s?

You only have definite amount of times you can make your cells divide afte which they can't anymore and can't produce new cells and collagen to give you the youthful look. How do you guys justify using retinol when you are young and in your primes and deplete your cell resource which you could potentially have for later in life. If it's just for ance you could use some other stuff. Just a food for thought.

You develop tolerance to the stuff, so you have to increase the concentration again and again and I'm guessing you start to see diminishing results.
 
hayflick limit doesn't apply on skin, you are good to go.

edit: I meant collagen levels, I haven't looked up hayflick limit on skin cells though.
