A win is kinda proportional. Russia lost the war simply because of the expectations. If a grown man fought a 14yo but the fight lasted 12 hours and you got seriously damaged in the process, is that really a win? well technically, but not really..

I don't think that Ukraine (or their supporters) expected to actually annihilate Russia, the results are better than expected.
