So what does this mean? Contempt or pleasure in others misfortune
As far as we know this is unique to us out of all other mammals
Looking at someone failure or pain and deriving pleasure from it
That’s why ever since old times there were gladiator battles, executions were public etc
Humans derive some sick pleasure from seeing others below them and that can be seen in this website daily
