I'm a college student I get 3k from family and 2k in loan refunds per a semester, so in 3 months I'll have 5k in my bank. Right now I have 3.4k in my bank, is it wise to buy a new laptop or save for emergency.
I currently use a m1 laptop as my daily personal for school and browsing, and an occasional mid-tier 2017 windows gaming laptop for I use solely for CSGO.
Browsing on the gaming laptop is really slow so I can't use as personal, and running CSGO from starting the laptop to launching game takes 10+ minutes however the graphics and frame are good. The gaming laptops with the GPU's I'm looking at range $600-700 is it worth the upgrade since the windows laptop is approaching 7 year mark.
