Go on bodybuilding forums or Reddit or something, and look at when people ask “I plateaued, how do I keep getting stronger?” Everyone says “dude just eat more and lift harder”. What does that mean? What does “eat more” mean? Jfl that means get fucking fat.
Reality is if you’re a tall white dude, ectomorph, and training natty, you simply don’t have the androgen receptors. You can still build muscle though. But you shouldn’t worry if you don’t get to 3 plates bench or whatever if you’re 6’0 165. Just workout and try to make strength gains if they come but just worry about the pump and increasing size, which can be done at medium weight or heavy weight, low reps or high reps.
