I have a brother, he's always been more intelligent than me at everything and throughout school his grades were always better than mine. He's in college right now, in the second year and he's managed to get some pretty good grades, so good it fact that he's planning on enroll for a masters degree scholarship of 1200 euros per month. Lmao, hearing that just makes me sad af and angry with my own life. He's always been an indoors fucking butterfly and know just because he's smarter than me he can potentially earn that just from studying, saving it up and having money to blow up has he wishes.

Just don't know how to get over it. I'm 2 years older than him and yet I'm 2 years late in regards to my initial college class because I had to retake multiple disciples. Might as well get a part-time and save up since I have time on my side.

Help me.

Yeah I did

I don’t know but it’s always been shit because childhood trauma. Ironically it got better when I turned less subhuman and got better at coping with past trauma when i got to 15 (and started smoking properly around this time)

People are put in the wrong niveaus of education all the time and people couldn't care less.

No matter how high you study, our rapey tax system will almost ensure you are almost on the same playing field as a random office worker.
My little brother is way smarter then me (bookwise altho streetsmart and lookswise i mog him hard) but he and i both know that our future in terms of earning will be around the same despite how much further into education he goes

its no wonder so many people stop with school and go on welfare. As someone on welfare literally almost makes just as much as a normal working dude

i sometimes wished we lived in some other countries, my little brother is very gifted and could make hella bank there.
But here his options are limited.

An IQ of 120-125 is more than enough to have an adequate professional or academic career. In the upper echelons of IQ (130+) your brain stops being insentient, what i meant with it being a curse is that it you keep looking at every aspect of your life from every single angle, you take in all possible scenarios, overthink/complicate every single thing. While IRL in general, efficiency is preferred over perfectionism.
I would give up anything to have a balanced IQ.

Comparing yourself with the general populace is cope though. In a hard field (STEM, Quants etc) the average IQ is around 120-125 for graduate/PhD students, so it is nothing special at all.
