It's not good enough. It's an improvement but you'll still have a huge forehead. You should just do it and then report back since you have nothing to lose, it's just a hair transplant. I need the same thing but for bad diffuse thinning. I might get a hair transplant then just get SMP afterwards to fraud density.

You should do it then just cover your forehead and grow it out. If it's still bad get a hair system and keep popping fin so you'll still have your hair underneath if you ever want to go back.

I don't like hair systems I know many people who use them. They don't look real up close trust me. There's visible netting where the part is and it's overly thick and the hair itself looks sort of fake. It's extremely obvious to me whenever someone is wearing one. I can easily spot it. But the main thing is the maintenance it's a literal wig so it's hell to take care of. Your life is your hair system if you wear one. Constant maintenance, like trying to keep a bandaid from peeling off.

I've used it all. Fin for a year and a half, min for about the same, I tried oral min, tried dutasteride, I'm on pyrilutamide and fin and min only now. I tried it all basically. I use max strength tretinoin to make the minoxidil work better too.
