I was walking down the street today and a blonde girl mumbled "uggh" as I was walking past.

I think it's a combination of my skin in the wrong lighting and I also have an alternating lazy eye. My eyesight has deteriorated a lot, so I can't tell when I have an eye drifting any longer.

I don't really care anymore though. I'm just about done.

I got glasses, but it doesn't fix the eye drifting. I don't wear the glasses outside. I tried contacts, but my eyes are too deepset, so I can't physically put them in. It took me 4 appointments just to get a trial pair in. I was beginning to get the hang of them when I got sent in some trial pairs but gave up... thought it wasn't worth the hassle of spending 20min a day just to get some contacts in.

Only surgery works but mine are alternating. So I'm not sure... because most people with a lazy eye have their eyes permanently deviate, whereas mine drift alternately.

I think it's a valid explanation for the treatment I get + acne scars. Acne scars = on same level as being bald or short... I would argue even more tbh. No one visibly cringes at bald or short people. With acne scars, the natural response is repulsion. In sunlight and overhead lighting it looks like I am a burn victim.

Now imagine I'm walking down the street, I lose concentration for a second and my eye drifts. The sunlight catches my skin in the worst lighting, and then a girl walks past. It's brutal because they can't contain themselves. Their reaction is visceral. It's natural.

Bro no matter how deep set the eyes are, it’s a skill which can be learnt. i have super deep set eyes and I put my contacts on in like 1 minute now after years of wearing them daily

I had a friend in high school with similar eye issue like u stated, he got a surgery in turkey and now his eye is normal. Wasn’t too expensive either
