Tip of my nose suddenly turned red, HELP!

This evening my nose was completely fine. After eating food and spending some time on the internet, I go to take a shower and see that the tip of my nose is bright red. I am deathly afraid that I might be getting a pimple there, which is an absolute pain to remove, not to mention how repulsive that looks, but I know that stressing about it will only make it worsen. Right now I am putting an ice pack on it but what the heck is this and how do I get rid of it.
