I am mainly looking for places in Germany however any country is ok.

Does anyone have any experience with TPD and knows of a good surgeon who would offer one?

Thanks, Toothcels.

Primarily, I want to see what are the options, there is no use chasing something that is unattainable
So far I've heard from @NegativeNorwood that EASE is a good option, but I really don't know about the others, I need to educate myself on this topic more

I myself plan on getting EASE in Germany it will probably cost me 5k Euros. I have found a orthodontist local to the surgeon in Germany who will do an MSE however I would really prefer a TPD however I am yet to find someone who might offer that either in Germany or in any other country.

I just sent an email over to the surgeon in Germany asking if they might know any orthodontists who provide TPDs (I would assume they are on a first name basis with quite a few right?), I can let you know if they respond and what they say.

If you would like I can dm you the links to the surgeons and some of the specifics.

brother please update about providers of EASE in Germany if you find someone who does it, and providers of TPD type of treatment. bare in mind they arent routine options

Also EASE is giga expensive

I've been looking into
And spoke to a previous patient of theirs on discord and he paid 5k Euros. Not including MSE which probably cost 2-3k Euros.

5k is a fucking lot, and I don't know if it's worth it over MSE
I'm guessing that you do think it's worth to pay the extra 2 to 3k for the type of expansion EASE offers right?
I'm just wondering how much of an improvement EASE offers compared to MSE

I am looking at TPD, and from the diagrams it looks like it expands in the V shape like the MSE, aka more in the front than in the back. Why is TPD the your choice of the expander?

@NegativeNorwood ya seeing this? :p

Amazing find and amazing thread.
Giga lifefuel for me too, I also found a few days ago that live near to the Power Expander inventor, so this has been an amazing week so far. Finding the so elusive "EASE for 5k" practicioner is also great news, that Kasey Li jew wants 30k+ usd for EASE jfl.
We are all going to smile mog hard

PS: @Mongrelcel This post could be helpful to you and also to @Nims

@Nims If you live in Germany and need palate expansion, then get the EASE in that german clinic, is a no brainer because the expansion is much more even and aesthetic than with the less powerful devices, yet the price is more or less the same (SARPE or MARPE with the weaker device usually costs around 5k too and gives a shittier, cone shaped expansion compared to EASE).

Yep, thats so overpriced I guess its because he invented EASE but still it's ridiculous for a few cuts. I don't know if that price includes the MSE/TPD but still that's insane. Jews always try to take you for everything you got.

I live in the UK, but I will probably travel as after some research this seems like a decent surgeon to go with, TBH its so hard to find someone offering EASE at a half decent price.

I got no idea how much TPD might cost but that would be added to the total so could be around 7.5kish not sure.

But from what I have read about different cuts and whatnot EASE seems to be the most aesthetic, I was actual planning on getting DOME as its a lot more available but after a bit of research it seems its quite limited in the aesthetic changes as the cuts made during the surgery are only on the lower maxillia which would stop any midface changes like more dominant cheekbones etc.

TPD is like 100% skeletal expansion, unlike the MSE which is like 50% I think. It also has significantly less risk with asymmetries.

Bluepilled and misleading clinic. Dr Juan Carlos Perez Varela in Spain, who invented the Power Expander seems like the best bet tbh. That in theory should be the very best device for palate expansion, it mogs the MSE device to mumbai and back.

Ikr :feelskek:.
"The MSE allows for better control of the expansion and ensures parallel movement of the maxillary halves."
MSE usually always results in asymmetries lol. TPD is far superior. Yet all this bogus about its not as easy to control.

Any idea how much skeletal focus the power expander has? I think TPD has like 100% its basically all skeletal.

God gift tier expander, up to 18 mm of even, parallel expansion
No idea on price, please tell me once you know it. I'm going to visit him in a few months for an in person consult, I'm saving money first so I can afford the full price of everything, because I also need two molar implants after that :feelsbadman:

I doubt I would achieve that tho, though that's probably quite rare, it is a shit ton of expansion.

Yep I'll let you know I've sent him an email inquiring about if he offers the TPD(Probably wont but worth an ask altho after reading the above I would probably go with Power expander anyways) or the Power expander, I have then asked if he would be willing to do EASE probably get a response in 1-3 days.

I've told him I have all the scans and what not ready so he should respond quite quickly as from what I read on the link you sent their isn't much pre op required with fitting the power expander, so I am probably an ideal patient as I have everything in check.

I got no idea myself how much this might cost tbh, do you think under 15k Euros would be realistic?

because I also need two molar implants after that :feelsbadman:
Yeah Im probably going to need wisdoms removed myself, but I don't think I will get implants as I'll be getting a Bimax after so I will maybe wait until after then.

Please let me know your findings once he responds.
I would expect in between 5k-10k eur as a reasonable price for the osteotomy cuts + SARPE with the Power Expander.

I had 6 extractions. All the 4 wisdom tooth removed, and 2 molars do to bad hygiene and lack of good oral habits (was a bluepilled retard most of my life), so I need the expansion + Invisalign + 2 molar implants. I don't have a recessed jaw and have a class I bite.

Ah thats less than I expected tbh, Im hoping he will do everything himself as that will keep the costs down I think.
And with him being the founder of power expanders the results will probably mog any other practices.

Christ that's a lot of missing teeth. I get why you want molar implants. Any idea how much those cost?

Also do you plan on doing anything to your mandible after the expansion? I myself have a bit of a bigger mandible than my maxilla so I probably won't bother.

He seems like the very best bet, at least on paper.

Indeed, it sucks. With insurance, around 5000€ for the two molar implants. 3300€ for Invisalign. I also need veneers do to shit tooth enamel, but will get them last to harmonize better with my face. After palate expansion and molar implants, I'll have cheekbone reduction (they lack anterior projection and are too wide, giving me a moon face regardless of body fat %. Reduction also makes them higher set). After that custom PEEK implants (forehead slope, lateral supraorbital rims, infraorbital-malar with saddle and jaw angles + widening genioplasty), and after that augmentation rhino, corner lip lift with fat transfer and finally lithium disilicate veneers and FUE hair transplant for better hairline and covering forehead implant scar. I expect to have everything done in the next 2.5-3 years if everything goes well. At the moment I'm softmaxxing, losing weight and saving money. I'm 30 yo, around 22-25% bf atm (was over 30% bf in january) and get rated 3.75 PSL normie by most people in dms.
This is my CT scan btw, here you can see the lack of those two molars (which could be visible smiling with palate widening), the excessive forehead slope, subpar lateral supraorbital rims, the low nose bridge, the super wide, low set cheekbones and the non recessed but still not optimal jaw:

Ct scan front
Ct scan side 2
Ct scan side 1

That's it, is a long journey but hopefully will be more than worth it. Best luck with yours!

Would the power expander + EASE be the best bet at palatal expansion if you have preexisting asymmetry? The device is custom fit so expansion is fine-tuned as opposed to MSE which should even be able to correct asymmetry with consistent monitoring. I have some asymmetry I don't want to exacerbate but direly need palatal expansion.

Has he responded about doing the EASE cuts?

Are there any other operations of this caliber/precision to consider when you have asymmetry and narrow maxilla?

I got no idea tbh but from my understanding Expansion through surgical cuts and expanders usually is the best option for a narrow maxillia, as for asymmetries Idk tbh I think its best not to go with something cucked like the MSE as that will accentuate the asymmetries due to the amount of force it can produce (It wont produce enough to just push it apart and will result in one side taking the brute of the expansion) instead going with something like the TPD or Power expander is your best bet as its significantly more powerful and fully bone bourne which will result in less asymetries if none at all.

Hi all 👋 Joining the chat here in this thread. ChristianChad kindly linked this thread as elsewhere we were discussing EASE (In fact, NIM's thread) and they linked me to this thread to continue the convo. I'm also serious about seeking consult for maxillary expansion as I've a mild sleep apnea / respiratory resistance syndrome condition which has bothered me for donkeys years, so I'll defininteyl be keen for that breathing benefit from EASE + TDP.

Christan gave me some good advice as to a clinic that allegedly does EASE + TDP in Europe so I will reach out to them to understand what are their consults .

I'm UK based but I expect to have to travel. I have CBCT scans which I'd be willing to share as I've been told these are helpful diagnostic tools for measuring intra-molar distances, I just havent figured out how to perform these measurements with the files I've got on my free "Slicer" program, though I've got some cool screengrabs I did mention to make; which hopefully you can see how narrow some parts of my nasopharengyeal airway are, aching for expansion 😤

Does TPD also expand the whole face and disrupt sutures like MSE? increasing zygomatic, orbital, nasal /palatal width and volume?

it does, but TPD (or any expander really) is almost always done with a surgical assist in men over a certain age (like out of puberty)

I'm not sure why you would want to do an expansion without assist, as you run into so many risks like asymmetries in all parts of the expansion, increased nose width, deviated septum, screw drag, teeth damage etc
I was told that even the power expander has a high rate of failure without surgical assist

I have not seen your face, but the lateral expansion is almost always an unwanted effect
Won Moon's orthodontist explains here:

Disagree, i need the lip width, cheekbones and god willing orbital width increase as well

I've known many people who've been very happy (teens) with their facial changes from MSE, zygomatic flaring, tighter full paranasal area, lifted eyes, etc

it does, but TPD (or any expander really) is almost always done with a surgical assist in men over a certain age (like out of puberty)
Whats the best bone borne expander on the market? Thoughts on MSE 2? and do you know where one could learn more about the TPD power expander? Know of any orthos who provide it ?

you know your face the best, and what you need to increase your looks

however, I'd invite you to re-examine the notion that wider zygos = looksmax (like the one you posted), a big part of male good looks is rectangular face shape, check any male model and they won't have cheekbones that protrude laterally that much
Zygos wider than jaw or temples will make your face look too oval very quickly, as a male angularity is important as hell
I myself have cheekbones that are a bit too wide for my temple and jaw width, and will have to to zygo shaving in the future to correct it

but like I said, you know what you need the best
lifted eyes
as far as I know, faster protocol = more disruption and more changes to the skull, but to make a noticeable change that far away from the palate, you'd be running the risk of serious asymmetries IMO
usually the expanders tend to "push off" of the stronger side of the skull

the Power expander is very good, I have no opinion on MSE 2, but please do reach out to me when you find some info as the German clinic posted in this thread offers a good price (7k for EASE and expander) uses the MSE 2 device
I will probably be reaching out to them as I'm strongly considering them for my palate expansion.
The only ortho I know that provides the TPD expander is Defrancq (I have no idea what his price range is, as he does not even have an email on his site, only a form to book an online consult for 50 euro)

Perhaps @Nims can chime in with more info about provides

Too huge zygos in mass arent ideal. Vertically small, laterally flared and high is the aesthetic ideal

Maybe you need some zygo reshaping

Zygos being one of the widest points on your face with your jaw 85-90% of your bizygomatic width is gigachad ideal

The facial fifths pic is ideal, you want a squared ish face shape with your zygos being flared and a bit wider than your jaw

Your total fwhr is the best way to measure all of this
as far as I know, faster protocol = more disruption and more changes to the skull, but to make a noticeable change that far away from the palate, you'd be running the risk of serious asymmetries IMO
Thought it was the opposite, also slow expansion means sutres stay disrupted more, slower expansion is ideal for youngcels though, also it allows the rest of the facial bones to remodel, instead of the force absorbers in the face collapsing and bending

@retard talks about it in some of his threads

I have no opinion on MSE 2, but please do reach out to me when you find some info as the German clinic posted in this thread offers a good price (7k for EASE and expander) uses the MSE 2 device
Yea that's what im trying to find info on

Thought it was the opposite, also slow expansion means sutres stay disrupted more, slower expansion is ideal for youngcels though, also it allows the rest of the facial bones to remodel, instead of the force absorbers in the face collapsing and bending

@
retard
@retard talks about it in some of his threads
I have read through all the retard threads, the way I understood the protocol speed is that with the faster protocol the bone does not have the time to "bend", but I'm not completely sure
Ideally i want to combine this with n2 implant for true maxillary displacement, rotation, and size increase
are you talking about a facemask?

in that case I do wish you good luck, because from my experience just trying to find an ortho to do normal expansion for a viable price is difficult enough
what country are you from if I may ask? You can PM if you don't want this to be public
Yea that's what im trying to find info on
for the reasons you want (disruption, maximum changes) I would def go into the Power expander or TPD and would not risk the MSE, but I'll try to find out what the differences are since I only will be going for expansion less than a centimeter and purely for the dental or benefits aka fixing my teeth and smile, so the MSE 2 might be a viable choice for me even tho the expansion might not be 100% skeletal
Depends on the price, I would rather choose the power expander, but I can't get quotes, not even the range without flying to Spain for consults...

what is your plan for the lower jaw? With how much expansion you're planning, a procedure to widen the lower jaw will be surely necessary

I would assume so.

Did email Dr Juan Carlos Perez Varela almost a week ago. He hasn't responded yet.

Which is stronger and more bone-borne, TPD or the Power expander?

Tbh Im not quite sure I expect it has alot to do with how the expander is fitted. I have seen some TPD devises expand up to 24mm while the power expander has a limit of I think 18mm. (At least thats what they say on their site they might be able to expand more idk).
So I would assume TPD is stronger but It would depend on the design and placement.

I think TPD is also more bone-borne no idea on the actual % of how much is bone etc but I think the TPD is drilled into the maxilla with no other support given while the power expander is also drilled in but has support arms placed on the teeth so some pressure might be placed on them instead of bone.

you know your face the best, and what you need to increase your looks

however, I'd invite you to re-examine the notion that wider zygos = looksmax (like the one you posted), a big part of male good looks is rectangular face shape, check any male model and they won't have cheekbones that protrude laterally that much
Zygos wider than jaw or temples will make your face look too oval very quickly, as a male angularity is important as hell
I myself have cheekbones that are a bit too wide for my temple and jaw width, and will have to to zygo shaving in the future to correct it

but like I said, you know what you need the best

as far as I know, faster protocol = more disruption and more changes to the skull, but to make a noticeable change that far away from the palate, you'd be running the risk of serious asymmetries IMO
usually the expanders tend to "push off" of the stronger side of the skull

the Power expander is very good, I have no opinion on MSE 2, but please do reach out to me when you find some info as the German clinic posted in this thread offers a good price (7k for EASE and expander) uses the MSE 2 device

Hi, I’m interested in an EASE style treatment, please can you PM me? I’m currently already in talks with a maxillo, but they’re unwilling to increase my intra-nasal space and I do really need the breathing benefit of the EASE
