Trying to get ’rich’ fucked me up mentally

We all know the 2022-2023 era when Insta reels were blowing up with get rich quick schemes,

Andrew Tate popping off, all these lock in motivational videos to get rich etc, I personally think this is the WORST thing that could’ve happened to many of us.

First of all I lost sight of normal things’ value, I thought if u don’t have a supercar at 24 then it’s over. Remember I was 14-15

Please live ur childhood, play video games and stop worrying about stuff like that

Now there’s nothing wrong with trying to get better economically, but to stress about shit like that at a young age isn’t good for you at all

I remember being 12-13 and the only thing I was worrying about was my CS/Valorant rank.

ugh idk im on this situation rn 15 yo, started working as a delivery guy to make sum money even tho i dont get much money and my ass hurts sitting on bicycle everytime, parents dont give me much money, only for good grades and holidays and always accuse me of wasting them on shit in their pov, moms arguing with dad cuz hes not rich so money is my goal i want to get rich and taste rich life, dad constantly tells me to study so i can get in a good uni so i can get a good diploma so i can get good job so i can get a lot of money so i can get family so i can retire at 35 and die but imo uni is scam in modern world so i take every opportunity to maximize my network build startups and get rich
