U/L split - should i do 2 or 3 sets

Im currently running U,L,R and repeat

since i have more frequency than a traditional 4x a week U/L split

should i do 3 sets or 2 sets on compounds

I usually notice my energy lowering and fatigue after my first 2 compounds lifts on an upper day

If you cant do 3 then do 2.

There would be an energy dip in the last set ofcourse, but unless it doesnt fuck up your next exercise it should be fine. But still 2 sets is completely fine aswell

stick to your maximum recoverable volume
for most people it’s around 2–but if you can go for 3 without overexerting yourself do it
from your last paragraph id recommended sticking to 2, especially for and u/l split
