What are the differences between types of test?

Test C/E/P for example. I know they take different times to release, but what does that even mean? I am thinking of using Test C to only have to inject every 3 days, but my plates are still open and I do not want to mess my growth plates off/have hormonal fluctuations. Also, what will happen if I miss an injection or two due to vacations? I know this is a basic question but thanks.
