Is it due to genetics? Or is it because they are one of those rare unicorns who don't wear make-up? Or would wearing make-up instead make her look even older? I don't get it.

I do think it's got something to do with degeneracy, if I'm honest. But I have also seen it in religious, pious women so I don't think that's the case.
