How much shorter would he have been without it though? Tbh being short is very beneficial for acceleration and agility and therefore dribbling, look at almost every single player whos very good on the ball in football and therye usually short, messi, hazard, sterling, insigne etc

hes weak now, it doesnt matter because people cant get the ball off him anyway, but yeah 5'4 would be too sort, i think 5'6 is do able in football though

He’s not weak. Messi has one of the strongest cores in world football. People try to push him off the ball and can’t because his core strength is top tier.
A weak player is someone like neymar, someone who easily falls down under pressure due to bad core strength.

Neymar dives a ton but he’s legitimately weak. He can’t take a hit due to his lanky frame with no muscle.
A lot of his dives are him legitimately falling down due to too much weight hitting him. He’s one of the weakest top players I’ve seen
