This is probably bullshit but I think gay men don't develop the same sort of romantic feelings for their partners as heterosexual partners does. Its so much polygamy, casual encounters and few relationships that I'm thinking that gay guys probably view each other as either 1) random guys they fuck or 2) friends that they like as friends whom they also happen to have sex with

So to answer your question, it sounds strange getting feelings of romantic love for a gay guy according to my theory. If its more a question of being turned on and wanting to fuck another guy, I'd say go for it. Imagine being bisexual - you just quadrupled your dating pool / casual sex pool, men are horny af can get sex within the hour at any given time, while heterosexuals has to jump through hoops to get sex - and thats if you are at least normie+ tier.
