Whats the worst way your parents fucked up when raising you? How has this affected your life?

My parents kept me in the crib for way longer than they were supposed to because I didn't cry as a baby and they forgot about me. Since I was always so quiet I apparently spent a lot of my early years alone for the majority of the time. Maybe that wasn't a good thing for my social development.
