Aaliyah Ramirez, a 14-year-old model and dancer from Syracuse, Indiana, disappeared while walking to her school bus stop on the morning of April 27.

The Syracuse Police Department says that the teen is not a runaway, and she is believed to be in "extreme danger."

Speaking to Dateline, Aaliyah's father said he believes his daughter was taken by someone and is being held against her will.

Aaliyah was last seen alive leaving the apartment where she lived with her father around 8 a.m. She never made it to school and has not been seen since.

The missing 14-year-old girl is 5 feet 9 inches tall, Caucasian-Hispanic, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Friends of Aaliyah Ramirez believe she is in danger and have asked for the public's help finding her.

After being homeschooled for years, the 14-year-old recently began going to public school, where she had excelled.

When she isn't at school, the teen spends her time at the dance studio and is a competitive dancer, traveling to competitions around the country.

According to her social media, Aaliyah is also a model, and her photos appear on several modeling websites.
