I admit there was a time when I bought fast food more often than I should've but even at that time I'd still cook myself semi-frequently.
What boggles my mind is just how hideously uninterested most people (aka normies) are about doing ANY kind of research about ANYTHING when it comes to food or cooking. Most people will learn 2-5 recipes (if even that) very early in their lives and then just keep using them for the rest of their lives.
Cooking quickly and for only yourself has also gotten easier than ever with stuff like vacuum sealers if you're willing to do any kind pre-planning at all. Yet most are too stupid to see the obvious value in doing things like that jfl.
