Why circumcision was created?

Like a lot of traditions it is a combination of factors, but the origin is probably because the people living in the mountains in the middle of nowhere in Israel or I guess back then it technically would have been caanan/phonecia, would have noticed that the boys who got circumcised would have much lower chance of developing infections or diseases. With the complete lack of any medical knowledge more than 3000 years ago this would have been important.

But of course there are other elements, its a tradition, and seen as a sort of ceremony to become a man, these things probably became entrenched in their culture the longer the practice existed. You can see a similar thing in some african tribes today, where circumcision is also seen as a ritual of passage into manhood, and its part of the tradition to do it at a certain age.

Of course now that we live in modern society that is hygienic, circumcision has no point, but the people who made this practice popular were poor and had no medical knowledge and could have died just from a single infection so circumcision was very helpful.

Some inspired to explain tatoos and ear jewelry alike, or even laws and state. In fact, its a antropologic speculation on consciousness, you pay a price of castration as imprisonment to body against having needs, never fully done and always lack something, to be able ‘to be’ in the world.

It's an old thread, think I already responded.. Circumcision is a looksmax and health max. Most women prefere it that way. I honestly doubt you sex without foreskin is better neither do I care. It's not like I can compare it jfl

Man let's say you are right and sexual act is indeed better with foreskin? With what would I be able to compare it with lmao. What kind of action did I miss out on or what was So great before the age of 9? For the part on health well yea studies in Turkey explain that it's beneficial and women in Turkey are literally disgusted by an uncut ştick. What of this is false? İdc about some western country but in Turkey even the most secular women is disgusted by it.

For everything it provides women's loyalty to the tribe. İ am glad the West isn't circumcized for our women would be more comfortable with them. İf you are a Muslim it's obligation if not what is the problem?
