Why do high-class areas put more emphasis on height?

Just an observation. Outside such areas, you can somewhat compensate for lack of height with other dimorphic physical and behavioral traits. But in high-class environments you're virtually doomed romantically, socially, professionally, etc.

It's so counterintuitive, considering such areas prefer low-threat traits overall
