Cheerleaders are a symbol of femininity, while football players are a symbol of masculinity.

So of course, all the guys want to be football players and all the girls want to be cheerleaders, if they have the physique to achieve it.

The reason why fat girls never become cheerleaders and why nerds and geeks never become football players is because their body is not made for that.

Of course though, with hard work, dedication and time, both men and women can become really fit but it is very rare that people manage to do it while they're in high school, so your genetics tend to determine your place in the high school hierarchy.

But afterwards, if you looksmax, you can completely surpass what your genetics would normally allow you to be, by gymmaxxing, neckmaxxing, leanmaxxing, skinmaxxing, bimaxxing, and by going out to bars and clubs a lot after ascending.

Everyone's position in the high school hierarchy is pre-determined but past that point, it is entirely dependent on your own efforts, some people ascend while others get uglier.
