Why does Germany have dialects that change everything nigga

Literally I’ve been saying currently which apperantly is Aktuell in German

But I’ve been saying Grad because that’s what I hear innit

And the worst part is I’ve been putting this in essays to this day some fucking dialect word

Makes me wonder what other words are a dialect from my vocabulary shits crazy

When ur writing something in Germany unless it’s WhatsApp or some shit u need to use normal German so in emails n shit if it’s to a firm I don’t think using these words would sound professional
