Why is it that you need discipline and hard work to be successful…except you don’t?

Parents, teachers, and successful people say you should spend your time wisely, study hard, don’t do drugs, go to college, etc. and you'll be a failure if you don't. Although your elders’ and successful people’s teachings sound logical and reasonable, it also seems like it somehow is false as barely anyone else did those things yet their lives are epic and your life is shitty. Everywhere you go, you meet people who spent their school years slacking off, fighting, partying, getting drunk, and doing drugs, and they’re living happy lives while you were well-behaved, disciplined, hardworking, and are unhappy now. And it can’t be because they’re Chads and Stacies and you’re not; you know ugly people who have great lives and indulged themselves in their youths instead of working hard. Why is it like this?

Because they're not actually looking after your good subconsciously, they've been through the same advice they told you and want you to feel their pain too. It's a form of psychological enslavement

This
They want you to be easier to control/raise

Remember anything anyone tells you is said with their own best interests in mind

I think some people genuinely mean it that way, because doing all that shit like partying, drugs, fights, etc didn't help them directly towards a successful future for their oldcel life(which is according to today's society mostly about having money/being rich). What they don't realize is that you have to go through that phase to tick it off and mature from it.
It's the same when people who experienced teenage love tell how worthless it is and that it's "overrated", while they don't seem to realize(because they don't have high self-awareness) how it made them a more well-rounded, better person and that it leaves mental scars to guys who never got to experience it

You don't regret the things you do, you regret the things you didn't do and never experienced tbh

It’s impossible to be truly happy if you’re not female in the West.
Chad lives a happier life than any female. They don't have to worry about pregnancy, periods, getting raped etc and they get treated like royalty everywhere they go.

Chads don’t get included as equal members of female social circles. Chads’ female friends don’t treat him like they treat their girlfriends. Chads get seen as creeps when they try to sit down at all-girls lunch tables at school. Chads don’t get to go in female bathrooms and talk to females in them about female stuff. Chads don’t get to go in girls’ locker rooms and get off to stripping cheerleaders (locker rooms are lesbians’ paradise). Chads don’t get to go with his female friends on girls’ nights out. Chads never experience the emotional rollercoasters that true feminine conversations are. Despite all the vaginal moisture that Gigachad’s presence generates, he goes through life never experiencing everything the female gender has to offer.

Is this your idea of a fun time? Chad gets attention from women and respect from men which leads to proper fulfilment in life. Stacy gets fake attention from simps and when she hits the wall everyone will forget about her. At least Chad can be a politician, ceo, monarch, athlete etc and people will actually take him seriously unlike Stacy who was given the job becuase of foid halo.

Because their parents didn't tell them to study hard, go to college, be polite, honest, etc. - it seems counterintuitive but this stuff can be more damaging, limit you and transform you into a cuck, while kids who were left on their own to figure things out, end up more well adjusted and better integrated socially.

This is retarded lmao. Not everyone can be a model/chad/Stacy. Literally every single other career out there you need hard work and discipline to get to a high level (along with some level of natural talent).

This. i'm trying to tell my mentalcel buddy that it's part of the journey of ascending and if you stop being based after that then you probably didn't have integrity in the first place

Cuz life doesn’t start after a degree, or after a certain income, it’s not until you achieve a certain look via surgery or anything like that.

Life is now. People who live by that experience it. While people who wait for live to start after a certain goal will never.

If your definition of success is being rich then Either get lucky or work hard for it. If you want to be happy instead, then you’ll have to first figure out what that means for you.

Good thread

furthermore :

Many degenerate activities are fun as fuck. Abstinence takes willpower. Missing out feels awful.

When an anti-degen person sees the world full of people being happy as fuck by being degen, they can’t help but feel it’s unfair that they’re supposed to abstain from degeneracy while others reap the benefits of it. So (s)he says fuck it and goes degen. “If you can’t beat them, join them.” Instead of continuing to seethe in despair about the state of a society that (s)he can’t control, (s)he decides to farm dopamine while (s)he still can.

People are told to not do “bad” things from young ages. Most low-inhib people naturally do them anyway. Some people, “good kids”, abstain from bad behavior since they believed what adults told them—for example, muh bullies end up unsuccessful. But real life’s blackpills eventually disillusion some good kids. When they watch the troublemakers, drug dealers, and bullies go on to live happily and successfully, some of the good kids come to the realization that good behavior doesn’t pay off. As a result of realizing that they missed out on all the fun, they begin to desperately yearn for the degen lifestyle that they used to hate.

I’m recording a song about this.
